Developments of Project RPA
Gridis Software for electricians
Service for analyzing the selectivity of protective devices. It contains a large database of digital devices and allows generating professional reports for design documentation
Features:
Quick drawing of the electrical network diagram using pre-made blocks (lines, buses, transformers, etc.)
Selection of protective devices from the database (protection relays, circuit breakers, fuses, relays)
Setting device trip parameters in a format fully compliant with the manufacturer's catalogs
Parameter input validation through the intelligent Gridis system
Automatic generation of a selectivity map for subsequent analysis
Generation of a professional report for the project (selectivity map + network diagram)
User registration in the system, project saving, technical support
Short-circuit current calculation at all network levels (in development)
Automatic selection of protective device trip parameters (in development)
Ready-to-use parameter calculation in Word/PDF format (in development)
Currently, the active user base of the service exceeds 200 people
The service is an extension of the desktop program Gridis-KS, which has been available since 2017, with 520 clients.
Creation of databases for clients
Creation of digital twins of protective devices for use in third-party and proprietary services
A full cycle of work, from the analysis of technical documents to delivering ready-made databases to the client in JSON, CSV, or TXT formats, including database structure development and testing
Work has been carried out to create databases for devices from Hyundai Electric, CHINT, DEKraft, Systeme Electric, and many others
multiscan service for digitizing catalogs
A service for converting graph images from PDF catalogs into digital form for further use in third-party programs and services (e.g., MS Excel).
Currently, the service has over 1,400 users
calculator for short curcuit currents
A calculation suite for determining short-circuit currents through power transformers for the purposes of relay protection.
It allows obtaining fault currents, visible to protective relay devices, during short circuits on the secondary side, taking into account the transformer winding connection group. These currents are critical parameters for calculating the sensitivity of relay protection.
Interactive electrical engineering models
Interactive online models for training personnel in electrical networks and substations
These models allow dynamic demonstrations of electrical experiments, providing a clearer understanding than static images and graphs found in books and other educational materials. The analysis of network modes is conducted based on real-time changing vector diagrams of currents and voltages.
The models are also used to analyze real emergency situations, as reported by the users themselves.
Since 2024, these models have been used for training students in the Department of Power Supply of Industrial Enterprises and Electrical Technologies (EPPE) at Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI).
Developed models include:
Founder of Project RPA, software developer, electrical engineer
Technical specifications for all developments, marketing, interaction with client's technical specialists
Scientific editor, software developer, electrical engineer
Engineering and technical support for developments, creation of databases
Main software developer
Software development
Head of department, electrical engineer
Coordination with the client's contract departments
